Smooth, Naturally Straight Hair — Without the Overly Flat Look

You want smoother, more manageable hair — but you don’t want that overly flat, pin-straight rebonding look.

At LUMII THE HAIRBAR, our Volume Rebonding in Singapore is designed for a softer, more natural approach to hair straightening.

Instead of focusing on making your hair as flat and straight as possible, we customise the rebonding process according to your hair condition, texture and desired result — smoothing unwanted frizz, puffiness and waves while creating a naturally straight finish with softness and movement.

Common Hair Concerns We Help With

  • Frizzy & Unmanageable Hair

  • Naturally Wavy Hair

  • Puffy Hair in Singapore's Humidity

  • Hair That Requires Daily Straightening

  • Previous Rebonding with New Hair Growth

  • Straight Hair That Lacks a Polished Shape

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Volume Rebonding and traditional rebonding?

Traditional hair rebonding focuses primarily on creating very straight hair, which can sometimes result in an overly flat or rigid appearance.

Our Volume Rebonding is designed for a softer result, keeping the hair smooth and straight while maintaining a more natural-looking shape and movement.

Think polished and naturally straight — rather than pin-straight.

What is the difference between Volume Rebonding and an anti-frizz treatment?

Volume Rebonding chemically restructures the hair to create a straighter result and is better suited for guests who want to significantly reduce waves, curls or unruly texture.

An anti-frizz treatment focuses more on smoothing frizz, puffiness and improving manageability while preserving more of your natural hair movement.

Not sure which one you need?

We will assess your hair and recommend the option that best suits your hair condition and desired result.

Should I Colour or Rebond My Hair First?

If you are planning both hair rebonding and hair colour, the recommended sequence will depend on your hair condition, colour choice and chemical history.

In general, Volume Rebonding is usually performed before hair colour, as the rebonding process may affect the final colour result.

At LUMII, selected hair colour and Volume Rebonding services may also be performed during the same appointment if your hair condition allows. Our stylist will first assess the strength and condition of your hair before recommending whether both services can be safely combined or should be done separately.

How long does Volume Rebonding last?

The rebonded sections of the hair remain chemically straightened, while your natural hair texture will gradually return as new hair grows from the roots.

How often you need a retouch depends on your natural hair texture, growth rate and preferred look.

How should I care for my hair after Volume Rebonding?

After rebonding, we recommend using gentle, moisturising hair care and minimising unnecessary heat or chemical stress.

Your stylist will also advise you on the appropriate aftercare based on your individual hair condition.
